Turn off your phone otherwise you’ll be spanked! (For SATB Chorus)

Composer & Lyricist : Ko Matsushita

Words from composer:

The ringing of a cell phone during a concert is absolutely outrageous, especially when it occurs during a pianissimo and tense moment. The performers and the audience feel a slight desire to kill that person (lol).

At the beginning of a concert, announcements asking the audience to turn off their cell phones are often made, but there are still many “incidents” where the phone rings during the performance.

So I came up with this song. I thought it would be more effective if “song” reminding people to turn off their phones is sung before the performance starts. Let’s make a fun, mischievous appeal with gestures. (In fact, it has been proven to be very effective with this song.)

It includes two versions of the song, “Classic” and “nouveau”, so you can choose the one you like.

Have a good time before a nice concert.
