Born in Tokyo in 1983. Graduated from the Music Department of the Secondary School Education Course at Tokyo Gakugei University, and completed the Music Education Course in the Composition Field of the Graduate School of Education at the same university.

He was selected for the Composition Division (Yoshinao Nakada Award) of the 15th Sogakudo Japanese Song composition competition. He received an honorable mention in the 19th Asahi Composition Award for Chorus.

He has written and arranged mainly choral works, and his works have been published by edition KAWAI, Ongaku no Tomo Music Publisher, Pana Musica, Windscore, and other companies. Among his many arrangements of popular music, more than 50 have been published.

He has also served as a jury for competitions and as a lecturer at workshops and choral festivals all over Japan, and has taught choral singing, mainly of his own compositions.
