Enrico Miaroma graduated in piano, choral music and choir conducting, music education, composition. He also studied with Franco Donatoni, Salvatore Sciarrino and Ennio Morricone at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Romanini Foundation in Brescia and the Festival of Nations in Città di Castello, obtaining scholarships as the best Italian student. Active as a pianist and as a choir director, he has given more than 800 concerts throughout Europe, in Ukraine and in the Republic of China Taiwan. He has achieved numerous victories as choir director in national and international choral competitions. Many of his choral compositions have been published throughout Europe and performed by some of the most important choirs in the world. Former Board Advisor of IFCM-International Federation for Choral Music for the two-year period 2009-2011, he is Artistic Director of In.. Canto Sul Garda and Riva del Garda International Choral Competition, Artistic Director of the National and International Children’s Choral Competition “Il Garda in Coro” of Malcesine (Verona), Board Advisor of IFCM-International Federation for Choral Music for the two-year period 2009-2011, of the Cultural Association EdizioniCorali.it, of the “National Trophy of Italian Choirs” for male choirs of Ledro(Trento ).
He has been director of the Garda Trentino Children’s Choir since 2001, the year of its foundation and is a professor at the Conservatory of Trento and Riva del Garda.
