In Paradisum

Notes from the composer:

 I composed “In Paradisum” in the spring of 2020.

 At the time, the pandemic of COVID-19 had just begun. As I was spending my days suffering not to see anyone, I heard the famous composition “In Paradisum” by Fauré, and I was inspired to compose a piece of music that wished for peaceful repose like this. I remember that I was able to write it without any difficulty.  This work, which was completed in a short period of time, is a gentle piece of music that truly prays for rest in paradise. I hope you will perform it with a tranquil and prayerful heart.
