This is a new look at one of the master piece of Renaissance period, “Il bianco e dolce cigno” (The white and sweet swan) by Jacques (Jacob) Arcadelt. I have examined this work from a new perspective and edited it.

One of the most famous madrigales of all time, it boasts a very sophisticated style, elegant and beautiful in its appearance. It also rhetorizes the world of the poem with a masterful rhetoric.

I hope this new edition will be enjoyed by many choirs and ensembles.
