Ama Namen

Composer: John August Pamintuan

Words from composer:

Ama Namen is the Pater Noster in Cuyunon language from Palawan, Philippines.

The original SATB was written in 2003 for the San Miguel Master Chorale, while the composer was vacationing in Coron Island, Palawan, Philippines. Such sights from the beautiful island inspired the creation of this favorite piece that many choirs have come to know and love.

This TTBB version was written for a choir in Norway and premiered in 2009.
