A Good Listener

Notes from the composer:

 I was commissioned by Ensemble Maika to compose a piece for a competition, I decided to compose a piece based on a text by a choral conductor as the other two pieces were so. There are no divisi, so it can be sung by four singers. 

Let us accept Mr. Kuriyama’s loving complaint against chorus members, who sing “selfishly.”
