I was first introduced to the music of Ivo Antognini many years ago, and have always been fascinated and deeply moved by it.  Through a series of unique circumstances, I also had the good fortune of speaking with him online and being able to appreciate his great humanity and profound thinking. 

And so it was, that during a historic time of uncertainty and fear, Antognini felt compelled to bestow this luminous and transcendent “Vox Clara” – not just to the choir that I conduct, but to treble ensembles everywhere.  May this spark of pure beauty bring to those that hear it, a moment of serenity and peace–and a sign of hope for the future.
