This piece was written especially for and dedicated to Ko Matsushita, in recognition of his profound contribution to contemporary choral music and his enduring influence as a conductor, composer, educator, and advocate for the choral arts.
It was conceived as a musical tribute to his artistry, musicianship, and commitment to bringing singers and cultures together through music.
The work received its premiere during the Asian Choral Masters International Festival, held in Manila in November 2025, where it was presented by the festival choir in the presence of an international community of choral musicians. Its premiere marked a meaningful celebration of friendship, artistic exchange, and the shared language of choral music.
